On the Train ready to move forward

The Tennessee Dental Hygienists Association has accomplished a lot over the years. We may even say, it has taken us way too long just to get where we are today.

At times, I feel like we are at the train station; standing on the platform; ready to get on board but not sure of where the train is headed or where we want to go.

Where do you see the profession heading? In the course of the Pandemic, we have seen so many things change. Not only how we go about our daily living, but how we have had to adjust to our dental hygiene practice.

As hygienists, what can we do post-pandemic to improve our scope of practice and at the same time the oral health of our communities? What can we do to succeed professionally, post-pandemic?
